Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Emin Cam graduated from Marmara University-Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012 and completed his doctorate in Pharmacology at the same university in 2017. He began his career as a faculty member in the department where he completed his doctorate, and has been working at Istanbul Kent University since January 2024. His research focuses on Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, medicinal plants, drug delivery systems and their production systems, 3D printing, and biomaterials. Dr. Çam conducted postdoctoral research at University College London in 2018-2019 and has been a Visiting Professor in Mechanical Engineering at University College London since June 2018 and a Guest Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Aveiro since October 2022, where he teaches graduate courses. Since January 2023, he has been working as a Visiting Lecturer & Researcher in the Department of Orthopedics and MSK Science - Surgery and Interventional Sciences at University College London Medical Faculty. As of August 2025, he is teaching postgraduate courses as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland). Between 2020 and 2022, he served as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Marmara University. Dr. Çam has over 80 publications, mostly in SCI-indexed journals, numerous national and international patents, many international publication awards and cover pages. He is actively involved in many TÜSEB, TÜBİTAK, and international projects and currently serves as the Executive Board Chairman and Rector's Advisor at Istanbul Kent University, Chairman and Advisor of the Turkish Red Crescent Food & Beverage Scientific Board, and Consultant for Art de Huile, Formule de Beaute, and Cemer Kent Equipment. In MecNano Technologies, the company he founded, he develops drug delivery systems and the devices to produce them and provides formulation and consulting services to many companies. Dr. Çam's publications have received more than 1900 citations to date, and he has an h-index of 25 and an i10-index of 41. He won a Silver Medal at the ISIF'25 International Invention Fair with his patent titled "Functional Beverages with Enhanced Bioavailability and Production Methods". Dr. Çam has been selected for the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list, prepared annually by Elsevier and Stanford University, as of September 2025. He has graduated 6 doctoral and 2 master's students and is currently supervising 5 doctoral students.
